DG Creative Services offers media-agnostic design-thinking solutions for communication. We believe that design thinking is a powerful tool that can be used to offer solutions, create experiences, and communicate ideas.
DG Creative Services believes that educational, financial, industrial, and other non-glamorous industries and taken-for-granted communication activities are as exciting and trendy as fashion. Thoughtful activities like newsletters, brochures, giveaways, and other activities like coffee table books can become great marketing tools, build communities, and make a huge difference to the user experience.
We collaborate with our client partners to create and structure content around changing reader habits, and shorter attention spans, to create a richer, more satisfying reading experience. This makes brand stories become memorable, distinctive, relevant, and sustainable without compromising brand values be it in print or digital, or even experiential.
Suddenly information for internal and external consumption not only takes on a new avatar but also resonates with the viewer and ensures a positive experience. We love it when design is intuitive, inviting, and simple, but we really love it when design helps businesses grow.
The Belief
“If you can Google it, don’t do it” is what drives DG Creative Services. A legacy of over 10 product launches and 8 magazine launches, plus the communication to promote them, have convinced us about the efficacy of often overlooked BTL activities. The unusual lessons from publishing and advertising have taught us to combine the urgency of news with the imagery of advertising.
Our objective is to make sure that all our creatives are based on user insights. We analyse information, write content, curate stories, and design them according to the uniqueness of the specific medium and its users.

Our strength lies in combining the urgency and topicality of news with the imagery of advertising. We go to great lengths to ask questions so that we can understand things better. It’s only then that we can work together and design communication that can make a difference.
DG Creative Services believes that nothing beats personal attention and care, so, each and every work is personally attended to by Mahua and Arindam. Moreover, each of our professionals, such as designers, illustrators, layout artists, imaging artists, writers, and editors, is carefully handpicked according to the project.
Since we value ideas the most, our team is briefed in detail before they start any project. Every idea is explored around the target audience it’s supposed to cater to and the client’s briefing before it is presented. The end result, very obviously, is a host of happy clients and colleagues all around.

At DG Creative Services, we believe that great design is the result of great teamwork. That’s why we have assembled a talented and diverse team of designers, strategists, and thinkers who are passionate about delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Arindam DG
Arindam is a storyteller in love with ideas. His thirty-plus years of experience include roles as diverse as darkroom assistant, illustrator, art director, copywriter, proofreader, exhibition designer, creative director, and design director in advertising and publishing.
He believes that these are exciting times for media and creativity and that print has to complement the web and evolve into a new form of storytelling. Curious by nature, he intuitively uses his observation and insights to find solutions that are irreverent but relevant and memorable. He is indebted to colleagues Kiran Nagarkar, Arun Kolhatkar, Walter Bernhard, Milton Glaser, NF, IG, and Charles, who unwittingly became his mentors as he explored blending the imagery of advertising with the urgency and reality of journalism.
He now leads creative at DGCS and is also a visiting faculty member at Sophia and MET, Mumbai, where he teaches design thinking, publishing, writing, and design after having worked at agencies Pratibha Advertising, JWT, FCB, RKS BBDO, etc., and later in publishing at Time Out India and Forbes India in leadership roles.
Hemal S
Hemal is a data visualisation designer. He uses his insights and applies them to data sets to build static and interactive infographics. His visual stories help the viewer understand and analyse information because they’re easy to understand and dramatic.
He stumbled into data visualisation after over ten years of design in advertising, publishing, and digital. A self-taught illustrator, his curiosity has led him across brands, media, and niche areas like business intelligence and digital publishing. He loves creating mock-ups and interactive dashboards and telling stories by visualising data, besides illustrations and design. His fifteen-plus years of experience include the creation of infographics, page layouts, and story-based illustrations for leading Indian media houses.
Jason R
Jason is a passionate developer who thrives on creating high-quality, complex systems that deliver exceptional results. Passionate about technology and committed to excellence, Jason is a highly skilled developer whose focus on delivering high-quality, effective solutions is unwavering.
With a deep interest in AI and a desire to stay at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, Jason brings an innovative and dynamic approach to every project he works on. Whether it’s developing new software applications or optimising existing systems, Jason is committed to delivering results that exceed client expectations. With a natural ability to identify and solve complex problems, he can approach challenges with creativity and tenacity, always striving to find the best possible solution.
Mahua MD
Mahua, the first point of contact with DG Creative Services believes that working towards common goals builds and sustains relationships that not only last but are also gratifying.
Her communication and people skills make her efficient at client interactions. Her ability to multi-task and wear various hats ensures that quality is consistent and on schedule. She left her role as Vice President (Corporate Training) with Edulight Learning Services to team up with Arindam at DGCS.
She has weathered business cycles in various marketing roles and smiled through various crises where deadlines were tight, expectations were high, and employee turnover was even higher. Blessed with the gift of smiling through the toughest of situations and the ability to stay calm during rough rides.
Dr. Muthu
Dr. Muthu is a Ph.D. in chemistry with multi-faceted experience. She gave up the prestigious Marie Curie fellowship for post-doctoral research and moved into writing. Her analytical skills and curiosity make her a proficient content writer. With almost a decade of experience in digital marketing, she loves developing and creating distinctive content to improve reading experiences. Always looking for feedback, she loves it when content, especially technical content, is simple, meaningful, and sticky, which she believes will translate into loyal customers.
A digital native, Dr. Muthu loves to establish and expand businesses online by devising and implementing effective online marketing campaigns through content marketing strategies, emails, social media posts, ads, etc.
Navin M.
Navin is a Bachelor of Arts with over 25 years of experience in the media industry. Although his Diploma in Computer Arts and Web Designing gives him the qualifications, his desire to stay abreast of technological trends and developments in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Corel-Draw, Freehand, and developing interactive PDFs makes him versatile and media agnostic.
Whether it is developing creative concepts from scratch or executing them for print or the web, Navin breezes through projects with a giggle and a laugh.
PRAKASH V A
An alumni of the Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts, Prakash has over 35 years of multimedia experience. He is equally adept with print as he is with sets and events. He has worked as a photographer, calligrapher, and scriptwriter, among other things. This multifaceted approach and intuitive design thinking, combined with a deep understanding of software and technology, ensure a quick turnaround time.
He is in love with ideas, concepts, and details in execution. He has worked with PSUs, luxury, industrial, and fashion brands, and even with the Mumbai Police for social awareness. He has also explored street photography, documentary films, and even events. His classical approach to ideas and execution ensures solid, thoughtful, and technically correct creatives.
Rajesh K N
Unconventional routes and analogies are traits of KN Rajesh’s creative communication. He considers himself to be still learning despite his twenty-plus years of advertising experience as a writer and team leader for mainline, direct, and digital platforms catering to FMCG, retail, finance, media, and government accounts.
His years of experience make him comfortable with print, direct marketing, film, and the web. Although he is a writer, his visual sensibilities ensure a classical, timeless approach, ensuring that every piece of communication thought through and driven by an idea.
His most recent stint was with RK Swamy BBDO as a partner and senior creative director. He had previously been associated with agencies like Scarecrow Communications and Ogilvy One Worldwide in leadership roles.
Sachin K
Sachin K is a visual artist based out of Bombay, now Mumbai. A graduate of drawing and painting, he has been working in the field of illustration and visual development for almost two decades now. He has been associated with leading advertising agencies and production and publication houses in India and abroad for the last ten years. He is also part of an art collective that does animatics, storyboards, illustrations, paintings, murals, installations, etc.
This range of activities across media has developed Sachin into an illustrator who is aware of brand guidelines, and his eye for detail ensures style and quality.
Yogesh P
Yogesh has over 15 years of work experience in the prepress industry. Skilled in scanning, colour correction, image editing, and mixing, he brings alive all the images that we use. With an Adobe CC certification, Yogesh has been associated with various media houses in Mumbai since 2002. A fitness instructor who changed courses, Yogesh is comfortable with both digital and print and has been associated with over 15 magazines and advertising agencies in Mumbai.
